In this edition, we are excited to introduce new leaders who have joined our ranks, share the opening of Louisville South, and proudly spotlight one of our clinics that has earned a well-deserved accolade. Louisville South is open for business
Congratulations to our Louisville South team! They opened their doors on August 15th, marking our 17th clinic overall and our 2nd in Louisville. We are excited to provide expert and compassionate care to even more of Louisville.
Meet our new leaders
We're proud to introduce the latest additions to our exceptional team at Commonwealth! We're excited to not only welcome these highly skilled individuals to our team but also celebrate the promotion of one of our own.
Michelle Blandford, Chief Financial Officer
Michelle comes to us with over 20 years of experience in finance and accounting. As CFO, Michelle is responsible for building and overseeing the strategic financial roadmap to drive revenue and profitability. Most recently, she was the Senior Vice President of Finance at Confluent Health. She has held management positions in several other local companies, including Texas Roadhouse and Payment Alliance.
Janet Carlson, MSN, BSN, RN, CRN, NE-BC, Executive Director of ASCs
Janet brings decades of experience in business and healthcare, including 24+ years of experience as an RN in direct patient care. Previously, she served as President of BEST Surgery & Therapies in Cincinnati and Chief Executive Officer at The Surgery Center at Midlands Orthopaedics and Neurosurgery.
Haeli Spears, Marketing Manager
Haeli has been a valuable member of our marketing department since October 2021 and has thoroughly enjoyed working and growing with Commonwealth. A University of Louisville graduate, Haeli brings experience from previous marketing roles with the University of Louisville and Louisville Metro Government.
Lexington clinic earns "Best of Lexington" recognition
We already knew our Lexington team was amazing, but now we get bragging rights!
They earned the top ranking in the Pain Management Clinic category as part of the Lexington Herald Leader's 2023 Best of Lexington awards.
This team's hard work and compassionate care earned them the recognition, and a huge thank you goes out to everyone who voted!
CP&S named #1 Best Place to Work in Greater Louisville with 150+ employees
Earlier this month, Louisville Business First ranked us as the NUMBER ONE place to work in Greater Louisville with 150+ area employees. We owe this recognition to our outstanding team members who completed surveys determining the ranking and took the time to share their invaluable feedback and experiences.
